Competence and flexibility in research, development and production JULABO has automated production facilities - what is not quite common for medium-sized companies. Remarkable is the application of CNC technology for housing production, automated and environmentally friendly powder coating as well as SMD technology for circuit board assembly and testing. The aim is to keep in-house and continue to expand the facilities for development and production in order to remain flexible and independent to a great extent. This strategy also turns out to the benefit of customers because JULABO is able to rapidly and professionally satisfy customer needs.

The head quarter of JULABO Labortechnik GmbH are located in Seelbach/Black Forest, Germany

JULABO is ISO 9001 certified since 1994. Based on this, we have been able to constantly improve organisational structures and processes. JULABO is continuously developing new technologies and new ideas in order to meet the strict demands of our customers. The extraordinary success in the past years has proved that JULABO is well prepared for coming challenges.

Marketing and Sales
JULABO works with more than 100 distributors and dealers worldwide. This is the basis for providing an excellent support system. The German home market is successfully serviced by the headquarters in Seelbach together with our dealer partners. Mark Bitterwolf (Director of Marketing & Sales) and his team take care of export markets and look after the JULABO subsidiaries that service their markets almost autonomously.

A short look back

1967	Foundation of the company by Mr. Gerhard Juchheim, company owner and Managing Director.
1972	Presention of the first fully electronic circulator.
1979	ACHEMA: New products, new design and the introduction of LED temperature display cause a sensation.
1982	Measuring and controlling direct in the connected external system with MULTI-DISPLAY (LED) including warning and safety functions.
1992	Introduction of microprocessor technology in circulators.
1995	The Top Tech series of circulators replaces analog circulator technology.
1997	Introduction of the new HighTech series of Refrigerated/Heating Circulators and Temperature Controllers.
1999	Presentation of microprocessor Water Baths and Shaking Water Baths with splash-water protection. The Economy series of circulators with LED display makes you forget about glass thermometers.
2000	Introduction of the new High Temperature Circulators Forte HT.
2001	Introduction of the new High Dynamic Temperature Control Systems Presto LH.
2003	Introduction of the new Circulator/Bath program with tree product lines.
2004	Introduction of the new Calibration Circulators.
2005	Introduction of the new EH Circulator series.
2006	Introduction of the new FL Chillers and CF Cryo-Compact Circulators
